Guided checks
Guided keyboard check
Check individual keys, simultaneous combinations and repeat behavior in a fixed sequence.
How to use this check
Start and stop each step deliberately. Inspect the live data, then continue. A completed step means you observed it, not that the device passed.
What the browser measures
Marks show recorded events in sequence. Empty graphs mean no matching events have been observed.
Reading the result
Begin with separate presses, then combinations, then held and released keys. Use the next-key prompt for a systematic pass. Close other apps that capture shortcuts and record any keys that remain unavailable to the browser.
Why results can differ
A browser observes events exposed by your operating system. One test cannot establish whether a device is faulty. Connection, settings, focus and browser behavior can change the results.
